I’m a graphic designer with 8+ years of experience in higher education and federal programs. Most recently, I designed branding, marketing, manuals, workbooks, and training materials for Department of Defense Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) programs at Penn State’s Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness. Before that, I was the designer on Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s 2020 rebrand team and created the style guide booklet for its rollout. I also studied animation and interactive media in my M.A. in Art and Technology at the University of Oklahoma.

Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist (Remote) May 2022 – June 2026
Primary designer for the Thrive Programs for Parents and Caregivers and designer for additional federal initiatives under the Clearinghouse, producing accessible, compliance-driven print and digital materials.
Thrive Programs for Parents and Caregivers (thrive.psu.edu)
Led design for Thrive by creating 13 hybrid implementation manuals and 26 accompanying workbooks for the Thrive Supplemental Modules, with interactive fillable fields that met ADA and WCAG requirements.
Produced 200+ multi-page Parent and Caregiver Toolkit documents across multiple audience tracks, giving users downloadable materials to support their learning.
Developed scalable vector branding systems and logos for 8 educational modules, including Adoption, Neurodiversity & Autism, Stepfamilies, and Harmful Behaviors.
Created 50+ logos, in-module graphics, and visual assets for professional learning modules, including Motivational Interviewing, Applied Neuroscience, and NEAR Science.
Storyboarded five short-form eLearning videos (3–5 minutes each) for Thrive mini-learning modules and edited their scripts for outsourced animation, translating instructional content into clear visual explanations.
Compiled and designed usage data for monthly and annual infographic reports, supporting reporting to Department of Defense partners.
Family Advocacy Program (FAP) (fapstaffingtool.militaryfamilies.psu.edu)
Designed a 200-page instruction manual for the DoD Family Advocacy Program's staffing tool, used by all four military branches to plan staffing for new parent support home visitors, victim advocates, and clinicians. Built an accessible InDesign layout with master pages, paragraph styles, a linked table of contents, bookmarks, custom tables, data charts, flowcharts, and alt text. No post-delivery revisions were requested, and the manual is still in active use.
Army Relocation Readiness Program (RRP) (militaryfamilies.psu.edu/projects/RRP)
Led design of the 30+ asset toolkit, replacing scattered materials with one organized set that multiple installations could adopt. Managed production from intake through final delivery, with no corrections requested.
Designed the RRP Staff Manual (10 program components), PowerPoint template, activity guide, and Postmove Newcomers' Orientation Manual with accessible fillable fields and a Word style guide so each base could add local resources while keeping materials consistent. Created forms, flyers, and social graphics for six sub-programs.
School Resources to Support Military-Connected Students (schoolresources.militaryfamilies.psu.edu)
Designed print and digital outreach materials promoting the School Resources website and its free online learning modules to educators, administrators, and DoDEA personnel.
Designed the eleot®/School Resources Crosswalk Tool handout, which connects the website's learning modules to Cognia eleot® outcomes so DoDEA personnel can find relevant training.
Designed a handout showing how the website supports state Purple Star Schools goals, aligning module content with challenges identified in the Military Child Education Coalition's program evaluations.
Created digital flyers with QR codes linking directly to individual modules, an infographic on the Model for Managing Complex Change, and roll-up banners for outreach events.
Designed social media assets and educational resources that promoted the program.
General Clearinghouse and Multi-Program Support
Completed 95+ design projects annually across multiple federal programs, spanning print, digital, and campaign deliverables. Met all deadlines and communicated status proactively to keep program milestones on schedule.
Ensured ADA and Section 508 compliance across all deliverables, including interactive PDFs, form fields, bookmarks, and navigational structures.
Managed SharePoint, iStock, and in-house media library pages and collaborated with SMEs, writers, and product managers to translate complex research into structured, audience-ready communications, accelerating content delivery and reducing review cycles.

Created digital advertising campaigns and social media marketing assets that drove 500+ application conversions across Facebook and Instagram during 2020–2021.
Led the graphic design and development of branded Instagram stickers and GIFs, generating 8+ million views on Giphy and increasing engagement across animated and video-based social content.
Served as lead designer for IUP’s university rebrand, helping implement a new visual identity and creating a style guide distributed across a 10,000+ member university community.

Designed and produced recruitment and advancement materials for 15+ university departments, including brochures, postcards, admissions packets, fundraising collateral, branded merchandise, digital ads, and email graphics with print-ready file preparation for vendors.
Created environmental marketing and wayfinding materials for public transit advertising, university buildings, student centers, digital signage systems, and billboard campaigns.
Developed social media campaign assets and event branding for university initiatives, including Constitution in Crisis, Self-Care Day, Crimson Network, Chalk on the Walk, and Commencement programming.
