Thrive Supplemental and Professional Modules Brand Identity
As the lead designer for these Thrive Initiative Supplemental and Professional modules at the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State University, I worked within the existing Thrive brand identity to develop new logos and visual systems for an expanding suite of modules.
That included creating distinct logos for 8 supplemental education modules covering topics such as Adoption, Neurodiversity and Autism, and Harmful Behaviors, as well as 3 Professional Learning modules, including Motivational Interviewing and Applied Neuroscience. Each new logo needed its own character while still feeling like a natural extension of the established program brand.
The work spans hundreds of documents, toolkits, and resources currently in use across military installations, the Penn State Extension, and the public through thrive.psu.edu.
You'll see a sample from two supplemental modules: 1) Adoption, 2) Raising Siblings, 3) Applications of branding in Raising Siblings
Thrive Professional Learning Modules
This is the entire branding set for Professional modules from 2022-2025. On the following slides, you'll see 1) Branding for three professional modules, Motivational Interviewing, Applied Neuroscience for Helping Professionals, and NEAR Science, 2) Branding applied to the website thrive.psu.edu/professionals/learning/, 3) Branding applied to module toolkit resources for download.
